SoberHomes Reno provides non-clinical sober living for adults ready to practice sobriety, accountability, recovery participation, house responsibility, and independent-living skills in a shared recovery environment. Tours are by appointment only.

SoberHomes provides a furnished, structured sober living environment with practical household supports already in place. New members usually need only personal clothing, hygiene items, medications, and groceries.

Some shared household supplies, technology access, streaming services, laundry supplies, and other consumables may be supported through a consumables fee if applied under the member agreement. SoberHomes may serve women, men, or mixed referral needs depending on the property, unit layout, current availability, and house fit.
SoberHomes Reno includes five separate units. Each unit has its own entrance, kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms. This allows women, men, or other appropriate groups to live in separate units while following the same recovery housing expectations.
Rooms are assigned by room occupants. Units are assigned with attention to sex, safety, recovery readiness, house culture, and the needs of the current home.
SoberHomes is sober living, not ordinary room rental. Placement is reviewed during intake and depends on availability, room type, safety, and whether the home is the right level of support.
The outside property and approved common areas may be used by members and approved guests under the house guest policy.
Guest access is limited. Approved guests may visit for up to two hours, three times per week, and only in approved interior or exterior common areas. Guests are not allowed access to private rooms or sleeping areas.
Family support is important. Women may have visits from sons, fathers, other family members, sponsors, or approved guests within the guest policy.
Male members do not have unrestricted access to women’s living spaces. Male members may enter a women’s common area only in limited situations, such as:
